The XS60 component speaker package includes two copolymer 6-1/2"/6-3/4" woofers, two Type-S2 tweeters, two external crossover modules, woofer adapter rings, and tweeter mounting hardware.
Boston Acoustic tunes the outboard crossover to ensure a superb blend between woofer and tweeter for smooth, precise output. The tweeter output level is adjustable. Protection circuitry guards against accidental damage to the tweeter.
A compact, lightweight neodymium magnet reduces the woofer's size so it can fit in more vehicles — with no sacrifice in performance. The included mounting hardware allows you to surface- or flush-mount the compact tweeter, while adapter rings let you install the woofer in either a 6-1/2" or 6-3/4" factory opening.

Crossover
Crossover: All SX speakers feature specifically tuned crossovers to deliver the best blend between the tweeter and woofer. The SX60 system comes with separate two-way adjustable crossovers. The crossovers can be mounted separately or docked together and mounted as one piece. You can adjust the tweeter output level by placing the supplied jumper on the appropriate terminals. Choose between a flat (0dB attenuation/factory setting) or an attenuated output of -2dB or -4dB. No crossover frequency or slope information was provided by the manufacturer.
