Description Technical Specs   Pioneer CD-IU50 USB Car iPod Direct Cable for iBus Headunits Use the optional CD-iU50 cable to connect your iPod to select Pioneer stereos with "uBus" USB control. You can leave your original iPod USB cable in the house, and keep the CD-iU50 cable in your car at all times. This cable only supports audio playback — it will not transfer video to your receiver. Overview: The CD-IU50 is an interface cable that allows you to plug your iPod into a Pioneer head unit with a USB input (uBus control) for audio playback, control, and charging. It is virtually the same USB-to-iPod cable as the one that comes with your iPod, allowing you to leave your original cable at home. Compatibility: The CD-IU50 is compatible with all 4th generation and newer iPods and iPhones (including iPhone3G) that are equipped with a dock connector. The cable is compatible with the Pioneer head units with built-in USB inputs, and with head units using the optional CD-UB100 USB adapter. The CD-U50 allows audio playback only (does not output video).
